Portner is pleased to have once again been re-accredited as a certified member of The Law Society’s ‘Excellence in legal practice management and client care’ scheme (Lexcel).

Lexcel is the Law Society’s legal practice quality mark for practice management and client care. It is only awarded to law firms that satisfy the Law Society’s strict requirements regarding risk management, client and people care, compliance and financial management. Only one in six of the UK’s 10,000 law firms have achieved Lexcel accreditation.

From a client’s point of view, the Lexcel quality mark gives reassurance that the firm is efficiently run and has high standards of care and performance over a variety of metrics.

Partner Daniel Broughton said: “I am delighted that Portner has once again met the necessary standards to achieve Lexcel accreditation. It shows that we remain committed to providing a first-class service to our clients, managing the firm professionally and looking after our staff.”
